Operating Instructions
Operating the RadioScope itself is quite simple. Operating those
programs or devices which use the RadioScope varies depending on the
specific device or program and is thus beyond the scope of this section.
To operate the RadioScope:
- Turn off the RadioScope and attached radio.
- Attach the desired input signals to the binding posts on the front panel of the RadioScope.
- Make sure a Ricochet radio is attached to the serial port on the RadioScope.
- Turn on the Ricochet radio. (If its light does not blink, you are out of radio network range and the RadioScope will be unable to communicate.)
- Turn on the RadioScope. The LEDs on the front panel should blink briefly and then go out.
After you have followed these steps, the RadioScope is ready to receive
commands and sample input signals.
